Landscaping & Hardscaping in Fishers, IN

A deck or a patio is often where a backyard project starts. We build decks in treated lumber, cedar or composite, and paver patios on a compacted base so they stay level through freeze-thaw winters. You can also do both: a deck off the house stepping down to a patio with a fire pit.

Lighting makes a big difference after dark. Low-voltage path, patio and accent lights show the way and highlight trees and beds. If your street has an HOA, check its rules on fences and structures before you plan.

Water is the other big topic. Fishers yards sit on the same heavy clay as the rest of central Indiana, and water that pools near the house or across the lawn needs somewhere to go. A French drain, buried downspouts or some regrading can solve it, and it's smart to fix drainage before a new patio goes in. For something more relaxing, a small fountain or pondless waterfall beside the patio adds the sound of water without the upkeep of a big pond. Pergolas in cedar, aluminum or a louvered style add shade over a sunny patio. We also work with Fishers HOAs, offices and apartment communities through our commercial landscaping service.
