Landscape Design Build: Planned and Installed by One Company
Some homeowners get a plan from a landscape designer, then hand it to a separate crew and hope it translates. We skip that gap. Because we design and build, the plan is made by people who know what it takes to install it in central Indiana's heavy clay soil and freeze-thaw winters. If something on paper won't work in the ground, we catch it before anything is dug.

Residential Landscape Design for Front and Back Yards
Residential landscape design in Indianapolis usually splits two ways. A front yard design is about curb appeal: clean bed lines, plantings that frame the house and a walkway that leads people to the door. A backyard design is about how you use the space: room for a patio, a spot for a fire pit, privacy plantings, maybe a small water feature you can hear from your chair. Many plans cover both. We can also work around what you already have, keeping healthy plants or an existing patio and designing the new pieces to fit.

Design starts with a walk-through. We walk your yard with you, look at the sun, slopes and drainage, and talk about how you want to use the space. From there we work out where the beds, patio, walkways and lighting should go and put it all into your free quote.

Do I need a design before installation?
For a single bed or a few shrubs, not always. For a full yard, a new patio with plantings or anything with lighting and drainage, a plan saves time and money because every piece fits together.

Yes. We build what we design, so your plan goes straight from the walk-through to the install.
What does a landscape design include?
It starts with a walk-through of your yard. Depending on the project, the plan can cover beds and plantings, patio and walkway layout, lighting and drainage.
Can you work with my existing plants and patio?
Yes. If your plants are healthy and your patio is in good shape, we can design around them and add what's missing.
Can a design be built in phases?
Often, yes. A plan lets you install the patio this year and the plantings or retaining walls later, knowing it will all fit together.
