Paver Patio & Walkway Installation
Custom paver patios and walkways around Indianapolis, built by Arbuckle Outdoor Living on a compacted base made for Indiana winters.

Paver Patios & Walkways
Paver Patios That Stay Level Year After Year
Paver patio installation at Arbuckle Outdoor Living starts with how you want to use the space. A custom patio gives you a level place to eat, gather and relax, and a paver walkway connects it to the driveway, the back door or the garden. We work in pavers only, and every patio is part of our wider hardscape installation work, built on a base designed for central Indiana's clay soil and freeze-thaw winters.
Paver Patios & Walkways
What Our Paver Patio Installation Includes
Paver Patios
Patios sized and shaped for how you use the yard, from a small seating area to space for a full dining set.
Paver Walkways
Front walks, side paths and garden walkways that make getting around the yard easy.
Patio Extensions
More room added to an existing patio, or a walkway tied into one you already have.
Base and Drainage
A compacted base and a slight slope so rain runs off instead of pooling on the surface.

Why We Build With Pavers
We don't pour concrete. Pavers are individual units locked together over a compacted base, so they can move a little with freeze-thaw cycles without cracking across the whole surface. If a section ever settles or a paver gets damaged, it can be lifted and reset. Pavers also come in many shapes, colors and patterns, which gives a custom look that fits the house.

Paver Patio Contractors Who Start With the Base
What makes a patio last is underneath. Clay soil holds water, and water that freezes under a patio pushes pavers up and out of line. A good paver company or patio builder plans the base, the slope and the edging before laying a single paver. That's the part we take most seriously, and it's what keeps your patio flat through Indianapolis winters.

Paver Walkway Installation
A walkway should feel like part of the yard. We can run a path from the driveway to the front door, connect a patio to a side gate, or lead out to a garden bed. Add landscape lighting along the edges and it's easy to walk after dark.

What a Paver Patio Costs
Most paver patios we build run $18 to $25 per square foot installed. Where your project lands in that range depends on a few things:
- The size and shape of the patio, since curves and angles take more cutting
- The paver style and pattern you choose
- How much digging and base work the site needs, especially on slopes or wet ground
- Access to the backyard for equipment and materials
- Extras like steps, borders or a seat wall

How much does a paver patio cost in Indianapolis?
Most of the paver patios we install run $18 to $25 per square foot installed. Size, pattern, site prep and access move the final number, and your free quote spells it out.
What affects the price of a paver patio?
The biggest factors are size, shape, the pavers you pick, how much base work the ground needs and how easy it is to get into the yard. Steps, borders and seat walls add to the total.
Why choose pavers instead of poured concrete?
Pavers handle freeze-thaw movement better because they aren't one rigid slab, and damaged pieces can be replaced on their own. We work in pavers only and do no poured concrete.
Can you add a walkway to my existing patio?
Yes. We can tie a new paver walkway into an existing patio, or extend the patio itself. Pairing it with a retaining wall can level a sloped section too.
Does a paver patio come with a warranty?
Yes. Our hardscape work, including patios and walkways, carries a warranty on labor.
